She helped me to identify my source of trouble, recognise unhealthy patterns and coping mechanisms, make connections between these current behaviours and my past and validated my trauma. Beyond this she helped me to translate these unhealthy patterns and coping mechanisms into healthy ones and taught me how I could get my needs met in alternative ways. She taught me how to change my self-critical inner voice into a self-compassionate one and to tune into it.
