The Rooted and Rewritten Blog

Welcome to Rooted & Rewritten

This is a space where I share reflections on therapy and what it can mean to change—slowly, honestly, and in ways that don’t always look dramatic from the outside.

Some of what you’ll find here comes from my work as a therapist: thoughts on what therapy can offer, what often comes up for people, and how we learn to relate differently to ourselves and to others. Some comes from my own experience of living in a new country, building a life across cultures, and learning what belonging really means. And some is drawn from others’ experiences of therapy, alongside creative and reflective writing about growth, change, and being human.

I write about change not as a before-and-after story, but as something ongoing, shaped by history, relationships, location, and capacity. About learning which parts of us want rooting, and which are ready to be rewritten.

If you’re curious about therapy, navigating transition, or trying to make sense of who you are and who you’re becoming, you’re very welcome here. This is a place to pause, reflect, and see what resonates.
